Our youth ministry here at Calvary Chapel Williams includes InbeTWEENers (Grades 4-7) and the Youth (Grades 8-12).
We meet during church service on Sunday mornings and from 6P-9P on Friday nights. Most months we also have a youth activity and a youth service project. (See the church calendar for those events and their dates)
We also have quarterly Parent & Leader workshops (JAN/APR/JUL/OCT) to fellowship, share vision, and encourage and support one another.
We are convicted that the purpose of ministry to our youth is to disciple them in their own personal walk with the Lord. They must come to know Him for themselves as both Lord and Savior. It is our duty as stewards of this ministry to see our youth as God sees them. While they are lost, God meets them where they are and draws them to Himself. (John 6:44) When they accept Christ, they become full members of the body of Christ, there are no provisional citizens in the Kingdom of God. (I Corinthians 12:12-26) And finally, as such, they have a purpose and a calling from God on their lives for the right now. While God recognizes the context of their lives right now, and the challenges they face as young people, He is not limited by them. (Ephesians 4:1-16)
Let us stand together to serve them, disciple them, equip them, and enable them to know, live, and walk in all the fullness of Christ and His purpose for them!
